We are looking for self-motivated, ambitious individuals with extensive background of electrical control panel design. Duties will be varied and will include: Working with Bills of Materials, mounting of control panel components in accordance with layout drawings, component rail assembly and marking terminal rails. You will then be required to wire the assembled back plates to a set of schematic wiring diagrams following any job-specific specifications to the exact detail.

Proven track record in the Electrical Control Panel Automation Sector
Understanding of Control Panels and how they are built
Possess an Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings
Basic understanding of PLC based systems
Understanding of Motor Control Centre and Switchboard IEC Standards
Understanding of Control Panel IEC standards
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
Highly organised and self-motivated
Excellent attention to detail whilst able to grasp the bigger picture
Advanced level of using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio and Access)
Able to use own initiative and work without supervision
Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc UK & European travel as required
Ability to travel with full driving license

Strong previous work experience as a Control Panel Wireman
The ability to build Control Panels by drilling and tapping the enclosure back plate
The ability to populate back plate with components and trunking, using supplied drawings and parts list
Must be able to write components to client specification using schematics
Feedback of ideas, corrections, etc, to our engineering team
On site upgrades and modification of existing control systems
In depth knowledge of panel build standards and general practice
Competent in the use of hand power tools
Work to a high standard with minimal supervision
Flexible approach required to achieve project timescales
