Introducing Rachel Young, Applied Integration’s new Panel Wirer
Automation Talent Recruitment (ATR) have recently assisted Applied Integration (AI) with the recruitment of Rachel Young, their new Panel Wirer. Rachel will be assisting the Senior Panel Wirers who will provide her with on the job training to develop her skills and expertise.
“My goal is to become the best woman wirer! But also, to improve on my skills and hopefully become a design engineer one day”, says Rachel Young, AI’s Panel Wirer. “Joining the company has been the best thing to happen to me. I feel very lucky to join a well organised, welcoming company with an enjoyable atmosphere to work in”.
Our ATR Director, Lindsay Lofthouse is working on becoming an ambassador for women in engineering and as soon as schools, colleges and universities are back up and running as normal due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lindsay is hoping to get back into these places to encourage more women to join a career in engineering.
