Introducing Peter Moore, Applied Integrations new Business Development Manager

Applied Integration (AI) of Stokesley, North Yorkshire have announced that Peter Moore has joined the team as the Business development manager for robotic system and industry 4.0 automation technologies.

Peter comes with over 15 years’ experience working as an R&D engineer/manager involved in the development of safety mission critical control/software solutions for applications such as power stations, high speed trains (Eurostar) and smart robotics for order fulfilment and manufacturing processes.

For the last 16 years, most recently at Guidance Automation, Peter has served in global technical business development, product management and consulting roles related to real time systems, AI and collaborative robot technologies (Autonomous Mobile Robots, Pick Technologies and Simulation Software) in a wide range of market sectors including e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, health, airports.

In his role at Applied, Peter states his primary goal is “To help our clients achieve their process improvement and investment goals via effective deployment of automation and robotic technologies. Technology choice is often difficult as there are so many options. It can be difficult to know where to start and incorrect choice can be catastrophic/costly for client operations. It is clear that the team at Applied has the experience and independence to deliver a successful adapted to client need solution”.

When asked about his motivation to join Applied Integration he responded: “In my previous role I was seeking an automation solution provider to help implement an holistic integrated robotic solution with our mobile robots… I found Applied Integration to be a highly innovative responsive team with a catalogue of integrated robot technologies and an amazing track record in deploying and supporting safety/mission critical automation/control systems. I was excited about the prospect and challenge of being able to supply complete automation solutions so I joined them... Oh and North Yorkshire is a beautiful part of the world!”

Peter was recruited through Automation Talent Recruitment (ATR) which is the sister company of Applied Integration. ATR have managed to successfully recruit over 16 employees during the COVID-19 pandemic which we are very proud of due to being able to help people find new work during this difficult period.
